Where are you from originally?
I was born in Roseville but moved to Shingle Springs with my family when I was in middle school (circa 2000). I’ve been in El Dorado county ever since!
What were you involved with before starting with Hands4Hope?
I worked in radio promotions for a number of years and also for a nonprofit youth leadership development program/camp.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I had a baby boy (Weston) in December so there hasn’t been much free time as of late! However, I am looking forward to taking him hiking this summer, along with my husband Shane and our dog June.
What goals do you have for your work with Hands4Hope?
I’m excited to be working for an organization that does so much for the people of El Dorado County and beyond! It is my goal to empower youth to become leaders in their communities as well as an example of someone who is coachable and always open to learning new things.
What are you most looking forward to in working with Hands4Hope?
I am looking forward to mentoring youth in my role overseeing Hands4Hope’s after school committees! I hope to help them grow their leadership skills, foster a sense of responsibility for their community and world, while also encouraging them to follow their passions and dreams.
