Mid Year On-Campus Club Updates - 2023-24 Program Year

This is an exciting time of year for the Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference on-campus Clubs! Hands4Hope mentors 14 clubs at 13 middle and high school campuses from Folsom to Placerville through a year-long service-learning model. Club participants, led by their peer elected leaders, investigate areas of need in their communities, and then select one area to focus on assisting. Then they select an agency to benefit from their efforts, and a specific need to fill by organizing a project or series of projects.

As we begin the second semester, all 14 school clubs are now in their planning and preparation phase, which includes project selection, goal setting and creating a project timeline. Each club breaks into committees for marketing, operations, finance, and public relations, giving all participants a chance to enhance their skills in their chosen areas.

Currently there are 367 active participants in on-campus clubs led by 64 Hands4Hope Youth Leaders.
