Sponsor Spotlight: El Dorado Disposal

El Dorado Disposal provides Organics, Recycle and Trash service to the west slope of El Dorado County, but that is not the only service they provide. They also invest in the health of the community overall by partnering with and supporting nonprofit organizations, as they have done with Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference... for 16 years!

El Dorado Disposal’s support has grown along with Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference, with a shared passion for serving the local community.  We are so appreciative of their partnership this year, significantly increasing their sponsorship to provide more opportunities for developing young leaders into civic minded and socially responsible citizens.

Why do you continue to support Hands4Hope and how does our mission to inspire and empower youth in leadership and service fit your current goals?

El Dorado Disposal has been a supporter of Hands4Hope since the beginning because we have always believed in the mission to empower youth to identify a need, think creatively about how to address that need, and then execute a project that is youth-led. It’s still a great formula for developing young leaders.

You were essential in helping bring a Hands4Hope Youth Center to Placerville in July 2021. Please share your thoughts on the new expansion for the youth center and what it means for the youth and the community.

We’ve seen the impact the Hands4Hope Youth Center at 905-A Spring Street has made in a year and want it to continue to be a safe, relaxed place where well meaning, creative planning can create life changing projects for both the community members who receive help and the youth who learn through serving.  Being part of the village that worked hard to provide this building is a real honor and we look forward to seeing more great things happen because of the expansion.

Please join us in thanking El Dorado Disposal for all they make possible at Hands4Hope through their sponsorship!
