The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians (Tribe) is a federally recognized tribe with an independent, sovereign tribal government led by our seven-member elected Tribal Council.
As one of the area’s largest employers, the Tribe owns and operates the award-winning Red Hawk Casino. Our Shingle Springs Health & Wellness Center provides medical, dental, behavioral health and pharmacy services to thousands in the area. The Tribe’s Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) programs provide services in El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento and Yolo counties. The Tribe’s Development Corporation owns Express Fuel and Convenience Store.

The Tribe learned about Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference through your positive outreach and meaningful events. Your mission aligns with ours in that the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians is deeply committed to sustaining and improving the quality of life in El Dorado County and one of our key areas of focus is youth programs and education.
