15th Annual Hands4Hope Winter Boutique Taking Shape

For the 15th year, the Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference Warm and Fuzzy Drive and Winter Boutique efforts are underway!

Community Engagement Youth Ambassadors partnered with local schools, businesses, neighborhoods, and organizations to collect donations of warm clothing and blankets. Meanwhile, on-campus Hands4Hope Clubs, participants in the annual Hands4Hope Blanket Making Party, and other friends and organizations in the community made cozy handmade blankets. The after-school Hands4Hope Winter Boutique Committee, comprised of 15 youth participants, have been working since October to organize donations, prepare and plan for Winter Boutique distribution events. All these efforts work together to ensure that those in need in our community can stay safe and warm this winter.

At Winter Boutique, clothing of all sizes and blankets will be displayed in a functional "boutique-like" festive space for hundreds of "shoppers" to come through and receive what they need.

Special thank you to El Dorado Hills Town Center for providing the space for Winter Boutique this year.

Volunteers are needed to participate in the set up, distribution, and clean up days to help Winter Boutique be a success. Youth and adult volunteers are needed. For Distribution Days, youth must be in 7th grade and up.
